London England, 1888: The East-End of London was anything but a safe place to be, especially if you were a prostitute or an impoverished child in the late 19th Century. Annie Clarke is a hopeful child longing for nothing more than the love of her family, but her yearning for companionship is exploited by a deranged psychopath who preys on her innocence.
