Kite Group launched its new title, Gabriel Caruana, during an event organised at the artist’s studio, il-Mitħna in B’Kara. Gabriel Caruana was also in attendance.
 
During the event, Gordon Pisani, Director of Kite Group, highlighted the innovative aspect of the new title which apart from having a limited edition featuring original hand-drawn covers by Gabriel Caruana, the jacket of book also comes in 4 different colours.
 
In her speech, Charlene Vella, author of a critical essay on Gabriel Caruana highlighted his pioneering contribution to modern art in Malta. In a very personal speech, Professor Richard England, another contributor to the book touched on Gabriel’s evolution as an artist in Malta.
 
During the launch, guests had the opportunity to meet Gabriel Caruana and get their copies signed.
